LINEN

There are only few places in the world where the natural tan colour linen fabrics are still produced France, Eastern Europe and India.

Only in Provence uses finest French natural linen. It is not an easy fibre to dye but it accepts some of the natural colorants. Indigo is one of the  dyes which  bonds easily with the flax fibres and produces long lasting, beautiful shade of blue. Experimenting with mineral dyes like iron oxide, tannic acid and potassium permanganate enriches the palette.
